Hi, my name is Mathias Schmidt. I was born in 1970 and I live near Leipzig, Germany. I started collecting beer crown caps in 1992. The first few years I collected only used German beer caps which I came along. Later I increased my collection for beer caps from all over the world and after I received my first unused caps in a blind trade I changed my collection to a worldwide unused beer cap collection.

At the beginning of this year my collection contained 13.500 unused beer caps from 143 different countries. A complete statistic of my collection is displayed on my website www.beercaps.de [1] My oldest caps are from the early 1930´s and the most recent onces are issued a few weeks ago.
