Leonid Kandinsky
Hi,
My name is Leonid Kandinsky, I'm from Moscow, Russia.
I started collecting beer crown caps in 2001 by putting apart caps from beer I was drinking. After some time my friends came to know about my hobby, so they started bringing me crown caps or even full beer bottles from their holiday travels and business trips. This was my way of collecting crown caps, and in 5 years I got about 700 beer caps.
Then in early spring 2006 my way of collecting changed radically, and I started active collectings.
How do I get caps? Generally, the ways are 5:
1. By buying beer in the stores and putting apart the caps.
2. By requesting caps from breweries or crown caps manufacturing factories.
3. By trading with other collectors at personal meetings or via internet.
4. By visiting collectors meetings.
5. By bying caps at Ebay or other auctions.
